Add a drop down list to a table in JIRA description?

I have a table in the JIRA description.  In one of the columns, I'd like a dropdown list (where the values to choose from are 3 different icons) in each cell after the header row.

Is this possible?

Simply put, no. That's not something that can be done in the normal renderer, like, not even close.

That being said, the JEditor plugin gives you an HTML renderer you can use in fields like Description. Perhaps you could make yourself some sort of coded template which gives you something very close to the behavior you want. That's worth investigating.

Thanks.  Is there anything like that for JIRA cloud as opposed to JIRA server?
