I know in ServiceDesk project you can define dynamic forms for your field selection in the portal but in software I offer you, you can write behaviour for your field with the script or in the workflow add a condition or validator such a pop-up screen for a selected transition and when the fields select so you can execute the transition and in another way, you can write automation too.
