Added a column to a project Board but unable to move anything to it

Hi,
I have a user that has added a column to the workflow to a Board but when trying to move an item into it, the column displays:
You can't move this issue to this column due to workflow configurations or permissions.

I'm new to Jira projects, so I'm unsure why this happens, maybe there is a missing configuration for the column or the workflow, but I'm unable to find it.
Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

This is happening due to the conditions that have been set in the workflow. To check for the conditions in the workflow, you would need to check the transitions that are made for PENDING QA and RELEASE MANAGEMENT, either only certain roles can move this issue to the PENDING QA column for example a user has a Developer roles. It depends on this condition.
