Adding Epics to a company managed project backlog and assign it to another team managed project sprint backlog .. is it possible?

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

This is not possible. You can’t assign a team-managed project (TMP) issue to an epic that resides in a company-managed project (CMP)

This is because a CMP epic uses ‘Epic Link’ which cannot be configured/applied to a TMP (as it uses the ‘parent’ field).

This is done intentionally since the entire concept of team-managed projects is meant for independent teams that want to control their own working processes and practices in a self-contained space so it does not impact other projects or processes within your site.

Yes, you’re able to link issues that span across multiple (2 or more) Company Managed projects to one Epic!
