Adding a Custom Field as a Column in Filter View

How do you add a custom field as a column in the filter view.

We have a field called "Solution", which is cf(14802); however the display name or cf(14802) does not appear i n the search when attempting to add more columns.

Can custom fields be added as columns?

I am using JIRA 3.

@Ketan Patel Your request will not e fulfilled in JIRA 3. It's the time to upgrade your JIRA and explore wonderful features.

In the issue navigator, you can add custom fields.  But you can't add them to filter view gadgets until later versions of JIRA.

You really need to upgrade that version as soon as possible, it's insecure if nothing else.
