×I created an automation rule to create a few tasks based on a schedule. I am needing to add a smart checklist to a couple of those tasks after they are created. The tasks are being created as expected but the checklist is not being added.
Hi @shanag
Thanks for reaching out to our support, the template id shouldn't have the <> symbol around it -> {{project.properties."com.railsware.SmartChecklist.templateId.124881"}}
Let us know if that works for you!
Regards,
That worked. Thank you!

Hi @shanag
In our team we build Tick (I’m part of the team) — a Jira checklist app that lets you:
In Automation, you can set it up so that when an issue is created, Tick automatically adds the right checklist (and even pre-assigns tasks to specific people). This removes the need to manually insert them afterwards.
If you’d like, I can share a short step-by-step.
Hope this helps!

Hi @shanag -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You appear to be using a marketplace app for the checklists, Smart Checklist. If so, please review their documentation on using the app with automation rules:

And if it is not working as expected with the documentation, please contact their support team:
Kind regards,
Bill
