Adding a global post function

Is there a way to add a global post-function to all transitions in a workflow? Or, ideally, all except for a few?

My workflow has 6 steps, with a few transitions between each one - it seems tedious to add (and then subsequently maintain) the post function on an individual basis.

Some background: I'm essentially looking to get JIRA to send a HipChat notification for everything (at least for now).

One workaround is to create a listener which listens to Generic Event, but this has some significant drawbacks (e.g. I have not found a way to figure out the transition name which fired the event).
