Adding a new post function event

I used the how to above, but after creating the event and adding it to the notification scheme, the event isn't appearing on the post function page for a transition that. 

How do I get this new post function to appear?

You will need to follow these steps:

1. Add a custom event to the system (e.g. 'Issue Awaiting QA').
2. Configure the notification scheme to send an email when the custom event is fired.
3. Configure the workflow transition post function to fire the custom event.

If you created the even in the system and you associated it with the notification scheme associated with the project it should be visible in the post function on a transition.  Please follow the steps here and make sure you did not miss anything: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/adding-a-custom-event-776636672.html
