Hi

I have a project with some workflows shared with other projects. So I am creating a new workflow with different name but still the same workflow.

When I delete de current workflow and add and publish the new one to my project I get this message:   It is necessary to change the status of each incident so that they are compatible with the new workflows.

So, what should I do?

Regards

Hi @Lara Garcia Canovas,

The normal procedure for a change like this would be to edit the workflow scheme that has the workflows for your project. There you should associate the new workflow with the issue types you want to apply it to. It should then automatically replace your old workflow.

If there are different statuses in the new workflow in comparison to the old one, a wizard should guide you through the steps of mapping the old workflow statuses of your issues to the new ones.

Deleting your current workflow is not something you should be doing. So definitely have a look at workflow scheme documentation for more details and background!
