I'm an admin and would like to add myself as a watcher on all tickets of an existing project. How do I do that?
Hi Marcela,
You can use Automation for Jira.
Just create a rule with a trigger "Scheduled" add a JQL filter there to point to your existent issues/project (Don't forget to define the scope of what's going to be edited )
Add an action for adding you as a Watcher, and then you can run the rule.
Afterwards, you can modify the rule and add the trigger "Issue Created" and add a Condition pointing to your project, so every time a ticket is created, you'll be added as a watcher.
Please let me know if you have questions, and good luck!
Cheers,
Melo

Hello!
I am not an Admin, but I would like to have myself added as a Watcher to all existing Open issues on my boards, and (as above), when a new issue is created.
I have not worked with Automation before - could we please get the detailed steps to do these (ex, creating a Rule, etc..).
Thank you!
