We are starting to use Plans to map the whole organization's OKRs in Jira. We noticed that by default it's not possible to assign a ticket to more than one Team. How can we activate support for multi-team selection?

Best,

Hi @Samuele Kaplun

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There's already a feature request raised for this use case - Allow to set multiple teams on issues , which is currently in "Future Consideration" status. I recommend adding yourself as a watcher to this suggestion request, ensuring you receive updates when it is released.

Hi @Samuele Kaplun ,

There's an feature suggestion on that (currently it's not possible): JRACLOUD-89087: Allow to set multiple teams on issues

Although, I would personally not recommend that direction as having multiple teams on an issue would be equivalent to having multiple Assignees on an issue. And I believe this was something that was discarded a while back. Whenever you have things divided between two or more people/teams, it frequently ends up 'not so good' as there is no specific owner/driver of the item.

I would say that the best way forward would be to just split issues and then assign each chunk to specific team. But again, it's more about the actual requirement or use case to make a decision on how to implement a solution.

Cheers,
Tobi
