I'm working with someone to get her ready for an imminent project. As part of that, she wants to set up the project in Jira which I've done for her. But she also wanted to set up a few "dummy" test users. The only way I know how to add users is to email them an invitation. But if she wants, say, five users, I don't think I can send five emails to her email address with Test 1, Test 2, etc. I'm suspecting Jira won't allow that and I'm not going to ask her to create five fake email addresses. Is there some other manual way to create users that I am overlooking?
You are correct. Each user will need a unique email address on their account. What is the need for the dummy account?
Honestly, I'm not sure. She's not really a PM and kind of wants to 'role play' by adding tasks. But you know what? We'll just have to do that between the two of us. So, thanks.
