After upgrading to the latest Jira 8 version from 7.x, any new subtasks or subdefects that are created do not show with the other subtasks under the parent user story in the Active Sprints view. If I open the subtask and modify in some way (set priority, component, etc) and save it, it now (and will forever) show on the board. If I set this attribute I changed back to it's original value, it continues to show. It seems that just making any change on that new subdefect sets something behind the scenes on it to allow it to show up now.
Has anyone else experienced this or have an idea what needs to be done to resolve this issue?
We found this problem seemed to be related to Advanced Roadmaps for Jira after we upgraded to 8.12.2. The sub-tasks didn't seem to recognise the Teams to which they were assigned. I ran a jql query on the parents and updated the teams against them using a bulk update. The sub-tasks then appeared in the sprint view.
