Agile Board - Comment Formatting Broken

Make a comment such as:

*Widget Data*

Upon submission, the text renders as bold for a moment. Then displays as *Widget Data*

Edit the comment, make no changes, submit. It now displays as \*Widget Data\*

Edit the comment, make no changes, submit. It now displays as \*Widget Data\\*

etc.

Seems like the markup is being added to with escaping instead of rendering.

Is text formatting just broken or what?

Using cloud hosted.

Here is a screenshot for reference. Markup is rendered for a brief moment then switches to raw-text showing the markup. That markup is then saved as text and the markup formatting is lost. This causes the escaping to continue for future edits of the comment.

It works correctly for me, I couldn't recreate what you're saying happens.

I'm on the cloud version, not sure what you're using
