I am not able to start or stop the sprint even though I am added to the configure list.
What could be the reason?

Hello @Vaibhav Patel

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

To manage a spring below 3 permissions is required for all the projects whose issues are added to the Sprint:

  1. Manage Sprints
  2. Edit issues
  3. Schedule issue

Kindly navigate to Board settings > Details section. Under the board filter, you will find Filter Details.

This will help you determine from which projects the issues are fetched by the board based on board filter and you can check the permission scheme of each project if you have all the above three permissions.

Thank you!

Hi @Vaibhav Patel  and welcome to the community!

Do you have the permission "Manage sprints" in all the projects that are included in the board filter?

Best regards,
/Staffan

Hello @Vaibhav Patel ,

Good day! Welcome to Atlassian community :)

Inorder to be able to manage sprints ( start, complete ), you need to make sure you have these permissions on the concerned project:

  1. Manage Sprints
  2. Edit issues
  3. Schedule issue

Also make sure you have all these permissions on all the projects included in the board filter from where concerned sprint is created!

Thank you!

Hi @Vaibhav Patel

Welcome to the community.

Based on your behavior, it is likely that you have not been granted the 'Manage Sprint' permission in the company-managed project.

Thank you.
