Always show links in issue

Hi,

we have the problem that the detail screen of an issue only shows the link section when a link exists. It would be nice to always show it because it makes creating a link much easier.

Is there any possibility to swich it always on?

Short answer: no.

Longer answer and work-around: Some of the JIRA fields only display on the view once there is a value.  A work-around is to set a default value for the field.  That does not sound ideal for the case of links.
