Am I able to run a simple report that compares tickets entered to tickets completed?

I see there is a report called "Created vs. Resolved Issues" but it is not quite what I am looking for. I'd like to see how many were created, yes; how many have been resolved, also yes. But I also would like to be able to see how long it took to resolve a ticket once it was created. So kind of a breakdown of what is open, what is closed, how long it took to close them, and I need to be able to filter the report by project and labels associated with it.

Hi @Jocelyn Hively ,

To get the resolution time of tickets you can use Status Time app developed by our team. It provides report on how long each issue has stayed on each status(E.g ToDo, In Progress, Closed). There is the grouping functionality inside the app, so that you can group To Do and In Progress statuses as "resolution time" and get a report for resolution time of issues. You can filter the report by project, status, assignee, issue creation date. Or you can filter issues by your own custom JQL.

There is also the option to calculate the resolution time according to your working schedule. That is, resolution time of an issue opened on Friday at 5 PM and closed on Monday at 9 AM, will be a few hours rather than 3 days.

Here is the online demo link, you can see it in action and try. Hope it helps.

Not in a single chart. I recommend the Created vs Resolved and the average age charts.
