Apply a saved filter to a Dashboard

Hello,  

I am new to Jira and I create a dashboard for an existing project.  I have a saved filter, but when I go it the setting of the dashboard the filter does not show.  Can you please tell me how to put the filter into the dashboard.

Dashboards do not have filters, gadgets do.  You will need to edit each gadget on the dashboard to change its filter (if it is based on one).  If you need help with that, see @John Funk 's answer!

Hi Peter - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

For some gadgets on the dashboard the filter has to be marked as a favorite in order to be seen. Try marking it as a favorite first and see if it shows up.

Which gadget are you using on the dashboard?
