I have a board which just displays features/Epics. But when I want to apply the quick filter to display Epics with certain status it does not work. Are the quick filters only meant for issues/stories.

Hello @Avinash Banerjee

You can apply QF to Epics (cards on the board, NOT epics list on backlog )

issueType="Epic" and status ="In progress"

If you wan't to filter epics list on the Backlog you'll have to use a plugin

Hey,

Thanks for your response. I am applying the quick filter on the board using the same filters as you have suggested above. Yet they do not work.

The board itself has a default filter to show epics. Not sure that is overriding the QF.

Thanks

Avinash

What is your swimlane configuration based on? Epics? Could you post a screenshot and boards jql.

Hi Avinash - Welcome to the Community!

Yes, if the base filter for the board (or the sub-filter) excludes the Epics, then the quick filter will not work.

Can you provide the filter (and sub-filter) for the board?
