Approvers based on Groups

Hi Team! We have tasks which requires the approval from different teams.

Right now, in the approval field, we are adding individuals, one person from the team. This is very inconvenient since you cannot rely on one person.

Is it possible to create groups for each team? Add people there, and when it will reach the approving stage, then the approval will be linked to the group.

So, all the team members will receive notification about that, but you need only one approval from anyone in this group, not from all. Which means that you need to receive the approval from the Group, not from an individual. 

So is it possible to make in Jira on Data center? Or maybe in Jira Service Management on data center? Or only cloud?

I do not think that its possible to use the group function as you can in cloud. 

But it should be possible to re-create it using Assets (so you need Jira Service Management).
