Apps for Projects

Tom Hopes June 15, 2019

Is it possible to remove an app for a particular project (Service desk)?

We have Jira Cloud, two service desks. One development and one for Infrastructure. Some apps are specifically for development so don't need Infrastructure to see some of the apps.

Thanks,

Tom

No.  An app is either installed (globally) or it is not.

Some apps do support "only show in some projects", but that is entirely up to the app, not Jira.

Hi Tom,

Yes and No. By default atlassian apps are instance wide. However some applications allows you to restrict or limit the impact they have on projects.

In your case, you need to carrefully read the app documentation and check if you can restrict it on any way.

Kind regards.

Is there a way of editing the project menu so I could remove the app links?
