Are app links maintained when you merge two linked Jira and Confluence instances?

I'm working on merging a linked Jira and Confluence instance to another linked Jira and Confluence instance. Would the merge affect the link between an issue in Jira and a page in Confluence?

Hi Shirley,

When moving JIRA and Confluence to another environment, the link between the issues will be affected. You would need to point the Jira issues to its new Confluence page for it to be link correctly.

So this solution would fix the connection between the Jira issue and the confluence page that mentions the issue using the JIRA Issue Macro. Would this also fix issues and pages that are connected together via the "link" function in Jira?
