I am working (As a JIRS Admin) for a company that uses JIRA 6.0.8 software. I am looking for any documentation or guidance on how to import CSV files to create bulk issues. Basically create about 30 tickets where some fields vary (company name, server name, subject/title, etc.), but most fields are the same through an import of a CSV file with multiple rows to create each ticket at one time. Is this possible?
Is there any documentation for older JIRA versions for how to accomplish this?
Thanks,
Nick
Hello Nicholas,
I think that these documents have all the info for what you need, I am just not entirely sure of the version.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you still have doubts.
I will not be able to accomplish this unless we upgrade to at least 6.2 or higher correct?
Thanks,
Nick

Nicholas,
No, what I meant is that the add-on I mentioned, JExcel, is only available from JIRA 6.2. But you should be able to use CSV importer from JIRA just fine, which is documented In the 3 other links I sent.
