Are you able to have 2 different issue types at the same level in Jira DC?

example:

1. Theme <- Theme
1. Pods<- Pods
2. New Feature <- New Feature
3. Epic <- Epic
4. Story <- All other standard Issue types
5. Sub-task <- All sub-task issue types

Hi @myles megaffin

Welcome to Community! Yes you can, the names on the left are the heirarchy configuration. The names on the right are the issue types assigned to it

However lets say you have two issue types and users use roadmaps it will have the same name in roadmaps

The way I prefer to do it is to keep one issue type at the higher levels and use a field to differentiate the work. the name of the field we use is "Work Type". It's a single select list field with different issue type values

Best,

Clark
