Everytime when I log in to Atlassian Answers after last change to be based on Confluence Questions I am having a feeling that it is now not so heavily fixed and maintained. The most critical bugs were resolved in the past but now seems that nothing major is done.
Are you having the same feeling? Are you happy with how Atlassian Answers are working today? Or you do not care about those annoying bugs and lack of new features in the UI?
@Nic Brough [Adaptavist],
The problem is not that the issues are not logged .. I am feeling that Atlassian Answers platform is forgotten .. I am not seeing anything new, and bugs that are there are for a long time .. The problem probably is because Answers are heavily customized CQ and there is no one that could currently add something new to this and take care about this platform. The basic features are working but some minor bugs are there any maybe everyone do not care or think that someone is probably working on this .. after few weeks you notice that nothing actually changed.
Just a trivial thing that I reporter a long time ago like editing comments .. Isn't this frustrating for you when you make a mistake you need to convert to a answer .. edit and convert to a comment back again?
I'm still not seeing the bugs, or where they're reported. There are features I'd like to add, but anti-spam is still at the top of my list

Spam is the one thing I see that's an obvious urgent problem. Otherwise it works well for me.

May I ask that you make sure any bugs in Answers are logged at jira.atlassian.com?
Mention me specifically in the bug tickets and I will see if I can get some attention for them. However, without specific details as to what "bugs" you're seeing, it's really hard for me to act in any way to help.
@Nic Brough [Adaptavist] is right. We still do have a bit of work to do on the spam issues. I'm working on that.

Sam, could you please tell me on which project I should rise a bug when I notice it again? ANSWERS project is closed now. Maybe CQ project?

I'm not seeing a lot of "bugs" to be honest. But I use the basics (I answer questions, comment, vote and sometimes ban spammers), so I'm not sure if I'm missing bugs in other areas.
I am seeing spam, but @Sam Caldwell is actively trying to do something about that.

Spam is since I remember .. even before Confluence Questions.. I am not sure why this cannot be fixed somehow. I was covering this topic some time ago - https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/241411/atlassian-answers---spam-prevention As for bugs.. I agree that the most used features are working fine, but unfortunately others areas are impacted. Those are not critical things, but for me annoying. For sure it is also bad that nothing new is showing. No new features.

One of the problems is that almost all the prevention measures have been compromised. CAPTCHA has been known to be weak and broken since 2012 or 2013 (there are intelligent systems that can routinely defeat it now, and it's very low cost to use a mechanical turk to bulk-break them, due to cheap labour in some countries). Sam's latest implementation seems to have included some form of "no posting links until your karma is X" or "auto ban if it contains links", as most of the lies about astrology now seem to be just plain random strings of text with no links now. It's improving, and we no longer get the huge swathes of emails (at least, not when Charlie Hates Spam is fully enabled), but all the stuff in your old posting is either implemented or broken now, and they're still getting past Charlie. I feel it's improving, but there's still some clever enough to get past. As for the bugs in Answers - are they logged?
