In my jira project I would like to be able to quickly add tasks to my user stories. I can create Sub-Tasks from an Epic but from the User Story level I don't see any config allowing me to enable the same button. The work around is to create the task (standalone) and then link it to the story, which is quite time consuming and disrupts the flow when breaking down stories.
Do you have any idea what needs to be tweaked to enable the same feature on story level as I managed to do on epic? Where are these type of restrictions defined?
Thanks in advance for any input!

Hi @Ganesh Babu thanks!
Well, my question was not about how to use and when to use tasks, it was about the feature to actually add a task to a story.
For some reason in the jira version that we are using there is a function to add tasks from an epic, but not from a story.
What I'm looking for is the setting or reason why it is like that.
Thx // Robert
