Hello,

Currently we have a self-hosted Jira Software. We are looking to migrate to the Free Cloud version.

But is the following possible in the Free Cloud Version:

- Add Multiple Projects and add Specific Users to a Project?

What I figured out so far, is that there is no restriction like that. So Client X can also see the Project of Client Y. Is that correct and/or can that be solved?

Hi @Jaspur,

You are correct, this is a Free plan's limitation:

Project permissions, roles, and issue-level security aren't customizable in Jira Core and Software Free. Everyone with access to Jira Software is an admin for all Jira Software projects, and the same goes for Jira Core.

(more details here)

The only way to work around that is to upgrade to the Standard plan.

Hope this helps,

- Manon

Ok, then we'll stick at the self hosted Jira.
