Lately we've noticed that when we assign an issue, it is showing as 'Anonymous User' in the Activity Stream, even though the assignee is not an anonymous user (i.e. it's a user inside our organisation with a JIRA login). If we drill down into the issue, it correctly shows the name of the assignee. It's only the Activity Stream that's playing up. Is anyone else having this experience and what does it mean?
Could this be a browser cache issue ? Or maybe the user changed in the the AD? Like maybe a reindexing issue ? Maybe some screengrabs would help the community and highlight the issue.
