Assignee hangs in IE9

Whenever I change the Assignee on a JIRA case, I see the spinner while the page attempts to update. However, the spinner never leaves and the page appears to hang. Once I manually refresh, the page reloads and the Assignee is updated properly. Still, it's an annoyance to have to refresh every time the Assignee needs changed.

May I know you're using which JIRA version? Did you enable any compatibility view in IE9, if yes please try to diable it in IE > Option > Advanced.

In this case, try to enable it and test again. If the problem persist, try use other browser.
