I have a Test Cycle containing lots of tests assigned to many users.
If I list the tests in the Test Cycle Summary page (Tests/Execute Tests) then I can't view(or add) any Issue-specific fields.
The following fields are available:
- ID
- Status
- Summary
- Defect
- Component
- Label
- Executed By
- Executed On
However, I cannot tell who is assigned this test. How do I add Assignee to this screen?
I should add - this is so that the follk performing the tests know which ones they have remaining
Thanks
Hi Geedubya,
Currently Zephyr doesn't offer the Assignment category on the screen as the tool doesn't use the Issue Assignment function of JIRA.
I've outlined the reason why we don't use it at this point here:
Kind Regards,
Chris
Hi Chris. We are creating test cycles and then assigning tests to individuals to run them. The ability to see which tester has outstanding executions (and therefore may potentially need help) is key. At the moment I'm having to go into each test to see who it's assigned to. Likewise with the Zephyr Test Distribution Chart gadget - this is only by the user that reported (or created) the test - this would be far more useful if it was by assignee. Any news on whether this will ever be looked at? Thanks
