Atlassian-Connector for JIRA Issues: Cant start work on an issue

I use the Atlassian Connector for IntelliJ IDEA. I used to just click "start work" on an issue in the Atlassian/JIRA Tab to start working on it. Now when I click on it, nothing happens.

I recently switches to Intellij Ultimate Edition. Is this a bug or where else should I look for a solution?

Hello Dennis,

please check if you have the "Synchronize with IntelliJ Tasks" option checked in the connector's global settings, and if so, try turning it off. IntelliJ task integration was implemented as an experimental feature, and, unfortunately, has been broken for some time because of changes in IDEA. Until it's fixed, leaving it on leads to issues like the one you've encountered.
