Atlassian just changed the way they display Kanban boards and moved backlog to a new page.  I dont like this change and want to put it back where it was.  How do I do that?

Hi @Scott Cahill

Would you please add some details to what you are seeing?  That will help the community comment on this.

For example, did you previously have backlog as a column on the board itself?  If so, then maybe the mapped status values on the board have changed, moving Backlog to the left of the board.

Best regards,

Bill

Bill:

Yes, Backlog was previously on the board.  Then this morning Atlassian made some changes to how the boards are shown (which they announced via Jira) which moved the Backlog off the board to a new screen.  Here is a screen shot of the board settings page.  As you can see, Backlog will now only show is status changes.  However, I prefer the previous viewing method of having Backlog as a 4th colomn.Screen Shot 2020-03-10 at 12.48.16 PM.png

Hi Scott,

That is interesting...  Then again, I have turned off the Jira experiment participation in my user profile.

Have you tried to drag the Backlog status (on the left) back into your Backlog column?

Best regards,

Bill
