'Attach Image for Jira' is stopeing us upgarde jira 6.3?

we are not sure whether users are already issues this functionality while creating issue. Eventhough if we upgrade to 6.3 could lose the information based on below

1-      Can we still attach images too Jira without this plugin

2-      What happens to the images if we remove this plugin

3-      What happens if we just leave the plugin  it place.

 JIRA has attachments, this plugin just makes it a bit more specific for working with images.

So

1. Yes
2. They stay attached to the issues
3. It might work fine, it might work partially but have bugs, it might stop working entirely
