Auto assign issue only to specific group

Hi,

in our workflow a resolved issue is always assigned to the reporter (normally one of the testers). However, this causes a slight problem when a developer had entered an issue, since it is not assigned to a tester afterwards.

So: Is it possible to limit the auto-assignment to a specific group, eg. QA? I guess I would have to alter the Conditions or Validations of a transition, but I couldnt find a matching entry so far.

Try using Workflow PowerBox. It contains Condition Based Post Function.

Use it with Universal user-based condition and Assign to Reporter standard post function
