Auto populate dates in Advanced Roadmap

Hi

 

Each of my subtasks have estimates - but dont have start dates and due dates. Is it possible for the Advanced Roadmap feature to pull from the task estimations field and populate that in the Roadmap. For examples I have three tasks

SUB Task 1 - 2 days estimated

SUB Task 2 - 3 days

Sub Task 3 - 1 day

My total days for that story = 6 days (assuming each blocks the other)

Can those 6 days auto populate in the advanced roadmap for that story based on the task estimation?

I believe the items on the roadmaps appear based upon the Start Date and Due Date fields.  Have you considered using Automation for Jira to set those fields based upon the estimates?
