I received an auto generated email stating my descoped epic was still open even thought all underlying child issues have been closed.

Is descoped considered to be an active status?

the status descoped is an custom status, so we cant say how it will be calssified , and what should happend to your epic. Some information about automation, expected outcome and so on ?
