Automated time tracking

Lior Pesoa October 17, 2011

Hi,

I would like to add a fetature for Tasks for time-tracking.

I want that when we hit "Start Progress" jira will start counting the time spent on that task.

And lets say we need to stop and to work on another task (before completing the one we started), we hit "Stop/Pause Progress" and jira will stop the counting.

Then we start again until we complete (hit "Completed") the task.

Once complete, we will have a total time count (net time).

I don't think there is a free plugin for that but there is a commercial plugin that can fulfill your requirement: Worklog Assistant (time tracking)

Yep, Worklog Assistant is a good client app for start/stop time tracking.

We also have start/stop time tracking in JIRA Client, besides other nice desktop-y features.
