Automatic assignee from pool

Hello!

I have a group "jira-testers" and a workflow with a transition "test issue" from status "in progress" to "test". "jira-testers" contains several users which are responsible for issue testing. Is there a post functions which will set the assignee to one of these users (e.g round robin algorithm) but not to the group.

At the present moment it's still impossible to perform such task using only application controls on JIRA. To do that you would have to customize your JIRA creating a Workflow Extensions and add a post function.

You could also take a look at JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions plugin to see what it has to offer to you.

I also think that it would be interesting to enable such control in a more user-friendly manner.

But that is what JIRA has to offer right now.
