Automatically assign issues to default assignee during transitions

Hi 

I have a specific requirement.

I want that whenever i reopen a issue (Closed->Open) then issue should automatically get assigned to default assignee (in our case component lead) however i want to give the ability to override this assignment from the transition screen Closed-> Open.

I know first part of my requirement is easy to implement using post-functions but not sure how i can achieve the overriding part of it?

Is it possible?

Hi Rahul,

You can do that using Enhancer Plugin for JIRA. There are a couple of handy workflow post functions.

And I think Assign to a User in a Role post function will solve your need.
