You need a script - you used to be able to do it with Jelly, but now you'll need the script-runner, automation or some other scripting addon.

I don't know, I've always used Jelly or the Script Runner.

Jelly Script can be runned using JIRA services:

• Class: com.atlassian.jira.jelly.service.JellyService.
• Input file: C:\jirascripts\closurescript.xml
• Output file: C:\jirascripts\closureoutput.xml
