Automatically update user story status based on sub tasks starting?

Is there a way to set up my workflow for user stories so that the status of the user story automatically moves from "TO DO" to "IN PROGRESS" as soon as one of it's sub tasks or technical tasks moves to "IN PROGRESS"? Edit: bump
