There's a default template to automate creating a Jira issue from a Confluence page using "Actions" and this populates the issue summary with the action.
However, I'd like to prefill the assignee using some basic syntax rule (e.g. if a Jira user is the first object in the Action, use that as the assignee) as well as to automatically link the Jira issue to the confluence page that spawned it.
Has anyone built automation rules that let me do this?
I would imagine this would need to be done using custom smart values, but am unsure how to proceed.
Current automation rules:
@Erik Thunberg you should be able to add the assignee by adding the assignee field when choosing what fields to set. Once you have added the field there are various options to choose from including "User who triggered the event". Let me know if that does work.
