Currently we have connected HubSpot with Jira automation rule by which we trigger a number of repetitive monthly tasks for each of our clients, however for some  clients this does not work :/

I checked the automation rule & audit log and everything seems fine ~ however the problem is yet there? Any suggestions/solutions?

Hi @Dardan Parduzi ,

Welcome to the community!

Could you provide some more information?

  • How is HubSpot connected?
  • What is the trigger?
  • What is not working? Is the rule not triggered at all in some cased? Is the rule triggered but nothing happens? What does the log say?
  • What actions are supposed to happen? When the rule does succeed, what is different? Perhaps the actor does not have the necessary permissions in some projects,..

Let us know so we can help troubleshoot :)

Hey @Tessa Tuteleers thanks for the reply.

Please see attached the pic of automation if this works? for Q1.1_1_1.jpg

Q2. To match the assignee with the company ID ~ checked if there is all HubSpot info's are filled similarly to those comps that are shown vs those who are not and no difference.
Q3. Is not triggering the routine tasks for the assigns. Rule is triggered but nothing shown :(

Q4. The are talking about the same project ~ so permissions are not an issues

If I understand correctly, the issue is created but then none of the conditions seem to match?

Please add a "log action" before the conditions and log the Hubspot owner ID to see what the actual value is.

Hi @Dardan Parduzi -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

In general, when you have an automation rule using the Issue Created trigger and it doesn't seem to do what you expect, add the Re-fetch action immediately after the trigger and repeat your testing.

This trigger can fire very quickly, often before the data is available to a rule.  Adding a Re-fetch action slows down the rule and reloads the data before the rule proceeds.

Kind regards,
Bill
