Is there a way to integrate an XLS document in automation rules? I'm looking to do the following.
When a reporter issues a ticket, I need to join their ID number and their business name and add it to the ticket. In the past I've done this manually for a few clients, but in this case I've got an estimated 1K potential reporters, and I don't want to write that many if/else if statements.

There is no way to automate the inclusion of an xls document using automation for jira. You would need to look at a scripting tool like scriptrunner

Thanks Clark, We actually have Script Runner, although I haven't used it. Do you have any resources that would be good for starting out with that application?
