Automation to send email runs without error but i am not receiving any emails.

I created a simple flow that send me list of certain issues, the query runs successfully and audit log also shows that email is sent, but i am not receiving any email in my outlook

Hi @B Praveen Kumar Varma -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

For a question like this, context is important for the community to help.  Please post the following:

  • what version of Jira are you using: Cloud, Server, or Data Center
  • for Cloud, what type of project is this: company-managed, team-managed, JPD, etc.
  • an image of your complete automation rule in a single image for continuity
  • images of any relevant actions / conditions / branches
  • an image of the audit log details showing the rule execution
  • explain what is not working as expected and why you believe that to be the case

Until we see those...

 

If you are using a team-managed project and the field is a custom People type of field, the email address is not available to automation rules.  A workaround would be needed using the REST API or a different field type.

Hi B Praveen

Not receiving an e-mail can happen because a lot of things. You can try:

  • Test with another e-mail from another provider
  • Check the spam an thrash folders
  • Check if there are any rules preventing you to receive e-mails from atlassian

I have only one corporate email, point 2 checked no email found and point 3 where do i see those rules ?

Watching. Got the same issue since today. The "send email" action is successful but nobody is receiving the email in outlook. It worked fine yesterday.
