Available Options in Sprint Dropdown within Issue Creation

There are (2) Sprint options available in my Sprint dropdown when I create an issue with my main board. I have looked through all current boards and neither of these Sprint names appears active. How do I remove them?

I have seen this happen in a few instances where the sprint appears in the list despite being absent from the board.  The simplest way I've found to clear this up is to do the following:

1. Create a new board for your project and name it something like "Atlassian Test Board"
2. Create a new issue and assign it to the sprint that should be closed.
3. Go to Atlassian Test Board. The sprint should now appear
4. Close the sprint.
5. Delete "Atlassian Test Board"
