Avatars no longer showing up on the Jira Board

Hi all,
I am an administrator and am using the cloud version. Since a few months ago I have noticed that avatars are no longer showing up on the board. This does make things painful to monitor individual's tasks.

Adding a profile picture does not seem to resolve the problem

We can't see avatars on active sprint/backlog too, although there are avatars showing on issue view.

I have the same issue but on Server, not cloud.
