Hi,
I am looking to streamline the release management process so that there is transparency (of a specific release) and sufficient documentation to be able to trace the issues if they arise as a result of a project release/deployment.
Currently I use JIRA calendars to track the releases with the help of changelog tickets. But this doesn't allow me to tie it back to the analytics monitoring tools.
I would like to know if there are any recommended best practices for JIRA release management that I can follow to establish a better process
Hi @Amroz,
Trust you are well.
We create the App for managing releases and delivery centric roadmaps in Jira. You can check it out. Includes both Kanban, Timeline an Calendar views. It would be too arrogant to say we do best practice. But I dare say we have a good view on how release management could be done efficiently.
Cheers,
Yuri.
