Best way to manage Quarter to Quarter Timeline (Roadmap) Epics

Im entering what feels like uncharted waters and hoping the community can lend its insights and suggestions!

We are switching to the next quarter and recently finalized out roadmap. I am looking to do 2 actions that id love feedback/suggestions on. 

1. "Archiving" Q2 roadmap Epics that were truly completed. 

      1.2 Finding a way to track Q2 Epics that werent completed however dont have the                  status = DONE but we want to clear out those tickets from the Timeline view

2. Best way to only see Q3 Epics? We are currently labeling Epics w/ Q32024 so as to filter by that label

3. Is there a color scheme for Quarterly Epics that folks recommend?

Any other fav best practices during quarterly planning is welcome as well. Thanks!

Besides using a Quick Filter, you could also edit the filter of the entire board to eliminate particular Issues using JQL. But this may not have the desired outcome and would also impact other pages, not just the Timeline.
