In the sizing guide associated with BigPicture, it is stated that the base infrastructure should grow by 20% to 30%. However, it is not specific in relation to the reasons why this growth should be done, it only states the recommendation. Does anyone have any more detailed idea of the reasons? or an example of parameters to consider to make a more detailed and not so general sizing?
Thank you in advance for any reasoning or example that can help me.
Hi Walter,
Thank you for your question! Like every Jira plugin, BigPicture requires some computing power to perform its operations. From our tests, we've found that a range between 20% and 30% is sufficient for a comfortable experience with BigPicture. However, the exact number can vary due to different configurations of modules and functionalities and other apps installed in Jira.
We've recently updated and expanded our sizing guide, which you can check out here. If you have any follow-up questions about the performance or any other aspect of BigPicture, or if you'd like to share feedback on the sizing guide, please reach out to us on our support portal at BigPicture Support portal.
Cheers,
